Bonnie Jean Dacus, 83, of Dill City, Oklahoma, passed away on Aug. 7, 2022, in Dill City, Oklahoma.
Bonnie was born to Clifford Clinton and Ola Mae (Harrelson) Cook on Oct. 22, 1938, in Carter, Oklahoma. She grew up and attended schools in Dill City, Oklahoma.
She married the love of her life, Marlyn Dacus, on June 10, 1956, in Dill City, Oklahoma. Together they had three children of their own but raised many others. Bonnie will be missed by all those who loved and knew her.
Bonnie is survived by her children, Clifton Dene Dacus and wife, Melinda, of Yukon, Oklahoma; daughters, Jeanne Sue Dacus of Dill City, Oklahoma, Shirley Dacus-Dearneal of Yukon, Oklahoma; Grandchildren, Dustin Dale Dacus of Santee, California, Jennifer Gail Dacus of Dill City, Oklahoma Tyler Dacus of Salt Lake City, Utah, Maddison Dacus-Allstatt of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Amberly SyAnn Logan of Dill City, Oklahoma, McCellan Logan of Dill City, Oklahoma, Chris Dearneal of Yukon, Oklahoma, Jeannie Houston of Minco, Oklahoma, Valerie Dutton of El Reno, Oklahoma, Lindsey Dearneal of El Reno, Oklahoma, Clinton Dearneal of El Reno, Oklahoma, Sevenah Dutton of Yukon, Oklahoma, Brennen Dutton of Yukon, Oklahoma, Katie Smith of Dill City, Oklahoma, Teddie Bailey of Dill City, Oklahoma; and a host of many other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Marlyn Dacus; her parents, Clifford Clinton and Ola Mae Cook; and her brothers, Cliff Cook and Lonnie Cook.
Visitation is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday, Aug. 12 at Ray & Martha’s Funeral Home, 1502 N. Market in Cordell. Graveside services are set for 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13 at North Burns Cemetery, located 2 miles south and .5 mile west of Burns Flat, Oklahoma.
Arrangements are under the direction of Ray & Martha’s Funeral Home, Cordell, Oklahoma.
