Connie Holmes Vculek passed away in her home on Friday, Aug. 12, 2022, at the age of 88. She was born on August 18, 1933, in Hennessey, Oklahoma, to Herbert and Frances (Scott) Holmes.
On May 23, 1951, Connie married Stanley Vculek in Hennessey, Oklahoma, and together they had three children: Stanley David, II, Carolyn and Brenda. In 1958, the Vculek family moved to Yukon. Connie worked in the medical profession, later retiring from American Fidelity Insurance Group.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Stanley; son, Stanley “David,” II; daughter, Carolyn; parents, Herbert and Frances Holmes; brothers, Llewellyn and Harold; and sisters, Edith McCormack, Lucille Kudlac and Thelma Allen.
Connie is survived by her daughter, Brenda Monroe of Yukon; grandson, Shannon Vculek of Yukon; and great-grandchildren, Kalee Vculek of Del City, and Raven Vculek and Wyatt Whitten of Edmond.

Viewing will be held from noon to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2022, at the funeral home. A Rosary service will be held at 9:45 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial, at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 17, at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church, Yukon, Oklahoma. Interment will follow Mass at the Yukon Cemetery.
