Jeffrey Dyer King was born April 1, 1960, to Johnnie and Jo King in Wichita, Kansas.
The youngest of five children, he is survived by his three brothers and one sister. When Jeffrey was 5 years old, the King family moved to Yukon and Jeffrey remained in the area until his passing. He loved referring to himself as a “Yukonite” and attending the Czech Fest every year.

In 1977, Jeffrey’s daughter Reanon was born. He married Kari Graves on September 30, 1983, and together they have three children – Jennifer, Johnny and JJ. Jeffrey and Kari had nine grandchildren: Gabie, Marty, Ayven, Bryson, Logan, Molly, Brynn, Holden and Addison, and one great granddaughter, Heidi. Being a “Pappy,” as he was known to his grandchildren, was his favorite thing.
Jeffrey passed away due to complications of a stroke on Sept. 18, 2022, at 2:43 p.m., with Kari, his children and oldest granddaughter by his side.
Jeffrey lived a full life of laughter and love. He never met a stranger and did his best to bring kindness and joy to others. He will be missed.

Services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 24 at 10 a.m. at Bethel Community Church in Yukon.
