EL RENO – A no-bond warrant has been issued for a Yukon man accused of sexually assaulting girls over a period of five years.
Jose Miguel Rios, 39, was charged Dec. 28, 2022 in Canadian County District Court with indecent/lewd acts with a child (six counts), sexual battery and engaging in a pattern of criminal offenses.
Prosecutors charged Rios after an Oklahoma City Police investigation into offenses that occurred between July 2015 and July 2020 in Canadian and Oklahoma counties, according to court documents.
If convicted on all eight felony counts, Rios faces up to 132 years in state prison.
Canadian County Judge Khristan K. Strubhar issued the warrant for Rios’ arrest. No bond will be set until the defendant is seen by a judge, court minutes indicate.
Three teenage victims, identified only by their initials, are listed in the charging document signed by Assistant District Attorney Rebecca Boyer.
Prosecutors allege Rios “knowingly and intentionally looked upon and touched and/or felt the body or private parts” of the girls between 12-15 years “in a lewd and lascivious manner … calculated to arouse and excite sexual interests” without the victims’ consent.
The alleged acts are detailed in a probable cause affidavit signed by Oklahoma City Police sex crimes investigator Stacy Bowien.
The incidents were reported at a Canadian County address on NW 141st Street in Oklahoma City and an Oklahoma County address on N.W. 58th in Warr Acres.
Bowien interviewed all three victims, who described in graphic details how Rios had allegedly sexually assaulted them.

INAPPROPRIATE TOUCHING
The girls shared how Rios grabbed them and touched their private parts in several rooms of the homes on multiple occasions, according to the court-filed affidavit.
The first victim reported an instance when Rios allegedly called her into a dark bedroom and held her against inappropriately for 1-1/2 minutes. But he suddenly stopped, apparently thinking another child was entering the room.
The second victim told the police investigator that the defendant touched her several times under her clothes, kissed her neck and even asked what size underwear she wore.
The third victim recalled one “goodbye” hug in the garage:
“He kept her in the embrace with his hands on her buttocks, for what she felt like was a really long time,” Bowien wrote in the affidavit.
Indecent/lewd acts with a child is punishable by 3-20 years in prison.
Sexual battery is punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
Engaging in a pattern of criminal offenses is punishable by up to two years in state prison or one year in the county jail, and a maximum $25,000 fine.
