Patricia Kathleen Hill of Yukon, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, Jan. 8, 2023.
She was born to William and Viola Klopp on Dec.16, 1933, in Wichita, Kansas. She graduated from Cathedral High School in Wichita. She married Darrell Dwayne Hill in 1953; they lived in several locations throughout Kansas and Oklahoma, before making Yukon their final home.
She was a longtime resident of Spanish Cove and truly loved the staff and friends that she made there. Patricia will be remembered for her unfailing positive outlook on life, her sharp wit, sense of humor and her endless support and devotion to her family.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Hill; granddaughter, Melissa Kamphaus; brothers, Jimmy Klopp, Richard Klopp and Donny Klopp; and sister, Betty Walsh.
Her memory will be cherished by her four children and their spouses, Steve Hill (Jane), Roger Hill (Teresa), Mark Hill (Jill) and Carolyn Hoge (John); grandchildren, Kim Kidder (Doug), Kathy Lampkin, Zach Kamphaus (Melissa), Leslie Hoge, Stephen Hoge, Laura Hill, Drew Hill (Alisha) and Shawn Hill; nine great-grandchildren, Josh, Maddie, Hunter, Brady, Riley, Lexi, Kasen, Kreek and Krew; sisters, Carolyn Merka, Peggy Metz and Janet Gross; and brother, Billy Klopp.
The family wishes to thank the staff and nurses at Spanish Cove for their loving care provided over the years.
A private graveside service will be held at the Yukon Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Pat’s life at a reception at 1 p.m., Friday, Jan. 13, 2023, at the Spanish Cove Pavilion, 11 Palm Ave., Yukon, Oklahoma.
