Yukon mouths start watering as 66th annual feast looms

Tickets are on sale now for Yukon’s 66th Annual Ground Hog Dinner.

The “all-you-can-eat” community feed will be 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28 at the First United Methodist Church-Yukon, Fourth and Elm.

The Methodist Men’s Group sponsors the dinner, which supports church missions and community service projects.

The menu features Czech-style sauerkraut and ribs, new potatoes, sausage patties, sausage gravy, biscuits, and apple butter; with coffee, tea and water to drink.

Yukon Kids First sells desserts and soft drinks.

Advance tickets are $12 for adults and $4 for children 12 years and under. Adult tickets are $15 at the door.

Event coordinator Russell Kline requests groups of six or more people make reservations to help with seating.
