Amanda Day, a lifelong resident of Yukon, Oklahoma, gained her wings on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at the age of 42. She was born July 17, 1980, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
In November she was diagnosed with colon cancer. Despite her diagnosis, she remained graceful and never complained. Amanda was a giver, always willing to help make things right. She loved scrapbooking, singing and photography. She was passionate about her family. The most valuable thing in her life was the close relationships she maintained with all of them. She was the glue that held everyone together. The world is forever changed without her.
She is preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Dorace Day; paternal grandparents, William and Martha Jester; and her aunt, Marsha Jester.
She is survived by her parents, Duane and Becky Selvidge; her siblings, Wesley Selvidge and wife Amber and Ashley Selvidge and spouse Stephen Stickel; as well as many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and many loved cousins.
Memorial gifts can be made to Becky Selvidge.
