Kaylani Marie Finau, 6, went to be with the angels on April 13, 2023, in Oklahoma City, Oklahooma.
Kaylani was the daughter of Kiya Anne Finau, daughter of Marie Elaina Luman, daughter of Anne Marie Pemberton, daughter of Marvine Mae Watkins, daughter of Stella Ellis, daughter of Annie Opposum and daughter of How- Set- Taw.
She was born Aug. 7, 2016, to Kiya Anne Finau in Yukon, Oklahoma.
Kaylani would have graduated kindergarten at Central Elementary School, Moore, Oklahoma, in May of 2023. She loved dinosaurs, horses, cars, trucks, picking up rocks, animals and anything that would fit in her pockets. Kaylani loved singing and dancing when she could, but she was always on the go. Kaylani participated in Equine Therapy at Savannah Station in Yukon, Oklahoma. She was a very loving Child of God.
She was preceded by her great great grandparents, Jim and Marvine Watkins; great grandparents, Bobby and Doris Doucet; great great uncles, Anthony Watkins, Timothy Watkins, Aaron Watkins, Marvin Moran and Robert Don Watkins; and great great aunts, Terri Watkins and Janice Kay Watkins.
Kaylani was survived by her mom, Kiya Finau and companion Kelby Wood, OKC, Oklahoma; grandparents, Marie and Ronnie Luman, Mustang, Oklahoma; Bobby Doucet, Moore, Oklahoma; and Kristina Brock, Wanetta, Oklahoma. great grandparents, Doug and wife, Anne Pemberton, Anadarko, Oklahoma; Claudia Spyback, Edmond, Oklahoma; Elton and wife Cari Taylor, Chickasha, Oklahoma; aunt, Sariah and companion, Adam Stevens, Yukon, Oklahoma; Trudie Taylor, Stillwater, Oklahoma; Elaine and Melvin Sullivan, Anadarko, Oklahoma; and Cherly and Wesley Stephenson of Binger, Oklahoma; uncles, Camron Doucet, Moore, Oklahoma; Hanson Taylor, Anadarko, Oklahoma; Brett Taylor, Anadarko, Oklahoma; and Gene Young, Moore, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Anadarko, Oklahoma, with interment Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at Parton Family Cemetery, Anadarko, Oklahoma. Visitation will be held from 1-8 p.m. Sunday, April 16, 2023, and 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday, April 17, 2023, at Ray and Martha’s Funeral Home, Anadarko, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Ray & Martha’s Funeral Home, Anadarko, Oklahoma.
