Diana Lebsack is Yukon Public Schools’ new assistant superintendent for human resources.
She had been serving as executive director of secondary education and earned the promotion to succeed Dr. Jason Brunk.
“I am excited to transition into this role within Yukon Schools,” Lebsack said. “I am committed to helping YPS maintain excellence through recruiting and retaining the best teachers in Oklahoma
“I want Yukon to continue to be known for having great teachers for great students.”
Leback has more than 20 years of experience in education.
She previously was Yukon Middle School principal before being named executive director of secondary education in July 2019.
Leback was named Oklahoma Middle School Principal of the Year in 2018.
Before coming to Yukon, she was a middle and high school principal in Putnam City.
Brunk left the Yukon school district after 15 years to become human resources director at Francis Tuttle Technology Center. He was assistant superintendent for 10 years.
