Elizabeth Ann Eidson

Elizabeth Ann Eidson, born March 16, 1944, in Sunnyvale, California, to Sue and Irvin Cook, passed away surrounded by her loving family April 23, 2023. Liz married the love of her life, Lynn Eidson Sr. on Jan. 17, 1964, in Hayward, California. Liz and Lynn shared 48 wonderful years full of adventure together and were blessed with two children, Lynn Jr and Robert. The family moved to Oklahoma several years later, eventually settling in Yukon.

Liz worked in the manufacturing field for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, traveling, reading, and watching the Hallmark channel. Her Saturdays were spent cheering on the OU Sooners and Oklahoma State football teams, and Sundays were reserved for Church and lunch with friends and Nascar. She loved Christmas and any holiday where she could decorate, prepare her famous potato salad, and gather with her family. She was an active member of Christ Legacy Church in Yukon.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her mother and father, three brothers, and husband Lynn Sr. and son Lynn Jr. Elizabeth is survived by her son, Robert Eidson and wife Jennifer of Corinth, Texas; stepdaughters, Kim Crossley and family of Cape Coral, Florida; and Kellie Allen-Wells and family of Avon, Connecticut; sister, Judy Cook of Portland, Oregon; granddaughter, Kayley Eidson of Denton, Texas; grandson, Tanner Buxton; grandson, Dustin Hutchings of El Reno, Oklahoma; grandson, Christopher Shepard, Jr; and granddaughter, Isabella Shepard. Elizabeth is also survived by several brother and sister in-laws; as well as many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the many family members and friends that reached out to Elizabeth and the family in the months before her passing. The family would also like to thank the nurses and doctors of Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City for the support and care of Elizabeth in her final days.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 15 at noon at the Yukon Cemetery. In leu of flowers, donations may be made to Integris Hospice House or Christ Legacy Church.
