A memorial service for longtime Yukon sports editor Chuck Reherman will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19 at the Southwest Covenant Schools’ Gym, 2300 S Yukon Parkway.
Reherman, who worked in Yukon for 30 years, died Aug. 4 at age 67. He spent the last six years of his 48-year career at the Yukon Progress after nearly 24 years at the Yukon Review.
Next Saturday’s memorial service will feature some of Chuck’s greatest photos, many of his Oklahoma Press Association (OPA) awards and various memorabilia of his time covering local sports.
Arrangements are by Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary, Yukon.
