

Zach Miller, Cutter Willmon, Elijah Pillmore, and Van Wootton – Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Grade Sunday School students at First Baptist Church of Yukon – were honored during morning worship on Sunday, Aug. 20, with the presentation of Scripture Memory Trophies.
During the past year, all four honorees – Zach, Cutter, Elijah, and Van – memorized 54 weekly Bible verses, the 10 divisions of the Bible, all 66 books of the Bible in order, The 23rd Psalm, The Lord’s Prayer, and The 10 Commandments, all of which earned them Level One status.
Two of these students – Elijah and Van – went on to memorize The Beatitudes and The Great Commission, which secured Level Two status for them.


Van also memorized Psalm 1, the Roman Road to Salvation verses, and the Armor of God verses from Ephesians 6, which elevated him to Level Three status.
Level One Scripture Memory Trophies were presented to Zach Miller and Cutter Willmon.
Elijah Pillmore was awarded a Level Two Scripture Memory Trophy, and Van Wootton was honored as a Level Three Scripture Memory Trophy recipient.
Proud parents are Kendra and John Miller, Abby and Brandon Willmon, Micah and Brian Pillmore, and Micheal and Jeffrey Wootton.
The FBCY Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Grade Sunday School teachers are Kathy Smith, David and Natalie Reid, and Kaylea Harris.
