Join the Mabel C. Fry Public Library for its annual adult fall reading program with the theme “All Together Now,” based on kindness and friendship.
There are two parts to the program at Yukon’s library, 1200 Lakeshore.
First, participants can read books and win prizes. Simply register for an online reading log by visiting the library’s website, http://www.mabelcfrypubliclibrary.com.
From Sept. 1 through Oct. 5, participants can enter how many minutes they read into their log. Minutes spent listening to audiobooks also count toward the reading minutes.
Paper logs are available at the library for anyone who prefers a non-digital way of tracking.
Weekly prizes, including a “Love My Library” hat and book of the winner’s choice, will be drawn from those logging minutes.
Upon reaching 1,000 minutes read, participants will be entered into the grand prize drawing for prize baskets full of goodies.
The fall reading program is open to adults ages 18 and up.
Yukon’s library will offer free events every Thursday at 7 p.m., Sept. 7 through Oct. 5.
