

Southwest Covenant Schools had their annual Homecoming parade on Thursday, Sept. 14 around the oval on the SWCS campus.
Fifth-grade students represented the elementary school and dressed in their ‘50s attire.
Southwest Covenant’s middle school football team had an incredibly detailed float.
The SWCS drama department invited drama alumni back to reveal the 2024 musical. “Beauty and the Beast” will be performed next April.
Others featured in the parade were the SWCS band, high school volleyball, high school track and field, cross country, middle school student council, and all Homecoming candidates riding in cars.
The 2023-24 SWCS Homecoming was Friday, Sept. 15. Queen candidates and their escorts were:
- Freshmen – Emersyn Duffel and Parker Allison
- Sophomores – Ella Upton and Will Friend
- Juniors – Annie Brown and Grady Edmondson
- Seniors – Londyn Inge and Gabe Ross, Hailey Dunnington and Caden Wehmuller, and Piper Gatlin and Trace Brunk.
Londyn was crowned queen with her escort Gabe.
First graders Olivia Wyckoff and Jack Williams were junior attendees. Olivia and Jack’s moms are SWCS alumni.
