Graduates of the Yukon High School Class of 1983 will celebrate their 40-year reunion alongside Czech Fest on the first weekend in October.

Classmates will meet at 7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 6, in the parking lot of 10 W. Main (home of Earl’s Rib Palace and the Lokal) to tailgate and relive the days of dragging Main.

Members of the YHS Class of ’83 are invited to bring their vintage and sports cars.

The Czech Day parade begins at 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 7, at the corner of Garth Brooks Boulevard and Main Street and ends near 3rd and Main streets.

The YHS Class of ’83 reunion committee is looking at options for those who want to meet during the morning festivities.

At 2 p.m., a private tour for the ’83 alumni will be held at Yukon High School, 1777 S. Yukon Pkwy.

For those who were in vocal and are interested, there will be a short practice after the tour in preparation for a performance that evening.

Dinner and festivities at the Dale Robertson Center, 1200 Lakeshore Drive, will conclude the reunion weekend at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale.
