A celebration of life service for Michael (Mike) Gene Jackson will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023, at 1 p.m., at Discovery Church, in Yukon. The service will be under the direction of Yanda & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Yukon, OK.
Mike went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 20, 2023. He was born in Watonga, Oklahoma, on March 2, 1952, to his parents Glenn Edward and Betty Jean (Boston) Jackson. He married Frances A. Jackson on December 9, 1989.
Mike was the patriarch of his family; a leader, mentor, and provider. He had the gift of a green thumb and could always be found in his yard surrounded by the most beautiful flowers.
He retired from the Federal Bureau of Prisons in 2002, with 26 years of distinguished service. He was extremely proud of his career and cherished the relationships that he made.
Mike is survived by his wife, Frances of the home, two sons, Matthew Jackson and wife Connie of Yukon, and Michael Crump Villafranca of Washington D.C.; two daughters, Stephanie Hill and husband Jeremy of Yukon, and Jennifer Jackson of Yukon; brother Patrick Jackson and husband Gary of Oklahoma City; sister Edwardene Fees and husband Lynn of Kellyville; four grandchildren, Caleb Hernandez, Caden Hernandez, Mason Jackson and Reagan Hill; and numerous nieces and nephews.
