Multiple sources have confirmed that Pam Shelton remains employed with the Yukon Chamber of Commerce.
The Yukon Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors met Wednesday afternoon in a closed meeting, said Chamber President Tim Ingram.
Sources told The Yukon Progress, on Wednesday, the meeting concerned a personnel matter that involved executive director Pam Shelton. After the meeting, other board members said no comments could be made about any action taken.
Ingram asked a reporter to leave the office about 3:55 p.m. as board members arrived for the meeting that started at 4 p.m.
Ingram said the meeting was closed to the public and he would have no comment. He said the chamber office Thursday may provide more information.
Shelton could not be reached for comment.
