Susan Lyons was born in Enid, Oklahoma on August 25, 1976. She passed away on December 30, 2021 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Susan graduated from Enid High School, and earned her ADN from OSU-OKC, her BSN from Oklahoma City University and her MSN from Grand Canyon University. Susan spent the majority of her nursing career at INTEGRIS Baptist Hospital, where she was Nurse of the Year in 2008, a Guardian Angel recipient in 2008, and ACE award winner in 2011.

The world lost an inspiring, caring, and irreplaceable woman on December 30, 2021. She inspired and touched so many in her 45 years as a friend, co-worker, Nurse, sister, daughter, wife and mother. Rest in peace, our worldly angel and the love of all our lives, you will be missed. She is survived by husband, Montana Lee Lyons, son, Malachi Jack Lyons of Yukon, and daughters; Hannah Riley Lyons, Makayla Rayne Lyons, and son, Isaac Hunter Lyons of the home. She is also survived by her parents, David Marland Crabtree and Claudia J. Crabtree of Enid; Brothers, Marland Crabtree and wife Yvonne of Norman, Jeff Crabtree and wife Pat of Katy, Texas, Darren Crabtree of Enid, and twin brother Mark Crabtree and wife Ricki of Enid; Mother-in-Law Ruth Lyons of Enid, and sister-in-law, Misty Scheel and husband Gerry of North Carolina. She had many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews that will miss her so much. Susan was preceded in death by both maternal and paternal grandparents.

Visitation is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, January 6, 2022 through Saturday, January 8, 2022. Funeral services will take place at Messiah Lutheran Church, 2 p.m. Sunday, January 9, 2022, located at 3600 Northwest Expressway, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 8701 Northwest Expressway, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Memorials can be made to American Cancer Society through Messiah Lutheran Church in Susan’s name.
