Traffic heavy around holiday park extravaganza

Yukon Police advise motorists to be extra alert around the “Christmas in the Park” holiday tour at the Yukon City Park complex.

Yukon Police Department officials have shared with the public suggested traffic routes for people who plan to visit Yukon’s Christmas lights extravaganza.

Drivers are reminded not to block intersections or business driveway. Cutting in line is not allowed.

Christmas in the Park is open from 6-11 p.m. nightly through New Year’s in the interconnecting Yukon City Park, Chisholm Trail Park and Freedom Trail Park.

Walking and drive-through tours of the festive illuminated displays are available.
